Terms and conditions

 Regular cleaning

1. The Client is responsible for all cleaning products and equipment, unless an offer or other arrangements apply.
2. All cleaning equipment must be in accordance with the health and safety standards and in full working order.
3. The Client may cancel a cleaning visit by giving 24 hours notice. In case a cancellation is not received within the required time frame T&T Cleaning Services reserves the right to charge the full amount due, for the cleaning visit.
4. T&T Cleaning Services has public liability insurance. Our policy covers any accidental damage costs made by any of the working staff from T&T. The Client must report any damages within 24 hours of the cleaning visit. Failure to do so The Client will not be entitled to any repayment..
5. All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed by the Client.
6. The client must allow the cleaner access to hot water and power, otherwise T&T Cleaning do not guarantee satisfactory cleaning.
7. In case a set of keys is provided they must open the lock without any special effort or skills. In case a door cannot be easily unlocked and the cleaner cannot gain access the full amount will be charged.
8. If a set of keys has to be collected from third party £10.00 charge will apply.
9. Payment must be made in cash or a cheque on the day of the cleaning visit, or at the beginning of the month, upon receipt of a monthly invoice.
10. The Client fully understands that any payments, which are outstanding and are not cleared within 10 working days of the issue date on the invoice, are subject to additional charges.
11. Outstanding payments left open after 30 days of the issue date on the invoice will be passed to our collections agency, and a charge of 10%  of the initial invoice due, will be added to the debt. The Client agrees as part of this contract to pay the sum, which represents our reasonable costs in collecting the unpaid amounts.

 

One-off , spring , end of tenancy and after party cleaning

1. The Client is responsible for providing task list.
2. The Client is responsible for all cleaning products and equipment, unless an offer or other arrangements apply.
3. All cleaning equipment must be in accordance with the health and safety standards and in full working order.
4. Minimum duration of 3 hours per cleaning visit applies.
5. Our sales advisor can only give a rough estimate of the duration of the cleaning service, based on a basic description of the Clients’ premises. The Client is advised that an end of tenancy cleaning may take double the length of time required for a general cleaning. After Builders Cleaning, After Party Cleaning or badly neglected premises may take up to three times longer than a well maintained home requiring general cleaning. Washing up, ironing, cleaning of windows, walls and laundry will normally double the estimated time and will not be done if not arranged with T&T Cleaning.
6.T&T Cleaning reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client's initial requirements change.
7. Payments must be made in cash on the date of the visit, or by debit/credit card a day before the cleaning visit takes place.

 

Carpet cleaning

T&T Cleaning Services reserves the right to amend initial quotation should the Client’s original requirements change. Please note that in some cases the Client’s carpets cannot be cleaned to look as new, because of old permanent stains, which cannot be removed completely. The Client responsibility is to arrange parking for our vehicle during the time spent at the Client’s premises and £8.00 CC will occur, if Client’s property falls within that zone. Payments must be made cash on the day of the visit, or before and there is £60.00 callout charge. If the Client cancel a carpet/hard floor-cleaning visit in 24 hours of the visit a 50% charge will apply.

Payments

1. Payment is requested on completion on the day of the cleaning session.
2. Payment can be made in cash on completion of the service
3. Payment can be made by cheque on completion, please make the cheque payable to ‘T&T Cleaning Services’. If paying by cheque, a cheque guarantee card is required and the customer will be responsible for all bank and legal charges resulting from a dishonored cheque.

If payment is made by credit card 3.4% surcharge will apply.

Complaints and Claims

1. The Client accepts and understands that poor service; breakage/damage or theft must be reported within 24 hours from the date of the visit. In Failure to do so The Client will not be entitled to a refund or recovery cleanings.
2. T&T Cleaning requires the presence of the Client or their representative at the beginning and at the end of the cleaning session in order an inspection to be carried out and if any corrections occur, they should be made on the same day.
3. Complaints are accepted verbally over the phone and in writing (letter, e mail or Fax). Complaints must be reported on completion or within 24-hour.
4. All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed. Items excluded from liability are: cash, jewellery and items of sentimental value, art and antiques.
5. Key replacement is paid only if our operative is responsible for losing the key set.
6. All customers’ information is private and confidential.
7. Client understands that he/she is not entitled to any refunds.
8. If the client is not completely satisfied with a cleaning job, T&T Cleaning will re-visit and redo the cleaning of any areas and items to customer's satisfaction. Therefore the Client must provide access to the premises for a revisit.
9. Client must be present at all times during the recovery-clean. T&T Cleaning reserves the right not to send a cleaner more than once.

 

T&T Cleaning will not be liable for:
1. Completion of tasks, which will double the cleaning time and are not part of the service ordered.
2. Cleaning jobs not completed due to the lack of suitable cleaning detergents and/or equipment in full working order, hot water or power;
3. Third party entering or present at the customer's premises and disturbing the sequence of the cleaning process, which will extend the time for cleaning
4.  Discoloring of fabrics becoming more visible once dirt has been removed;
5. Existing damage or spillage that cannot be cleaned/removed completely using cleaning detergents and equipment or standard carpet cleaning equipment provided by the Client.

 

After cancellation of the cleaning service

By entering into a service agreement with T&T Cleaning the Client agrees that after termination of the cleaning service he/she will not hire or use any home-related services provided by a present cleaner introduced to the Client by T&T Cleaning services. If the Client does wish to hire or use domestic services provided by such a cleaner then he/she must pay a referral fee of £2000.00.

By ordering T&T service by phone, mail, fax or website, the Client agrees to be bound by T&T Terms and Conditions. The relevant UK laws shall govern these Terms and Conditions, and by agreeing to be bound by them the Client agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the UK.

T&T Cleaning Services reserves the right to make any changes of these Terms and Conditions without giving any prior notice.
